Dr Rob Gill
Rob is a Senior Lecturer in diagnostic ultrasound physics.
As a highly experienced researcher and research manager, with a career in the CSIRO and other government research laboratories spanning 30 years, he also had considerable involvement in postgraduate teaching and the supervision and assessment of research students. Rob  and has written a diagnostic ultrasound textbook which is widely used in universities and professional courses on physics and technology of diagnostic ultrasound. Rob has won awards for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology Prize for Best Clinical Paper; Outstanding Paper Award, International Solid State Circuit and the ​University Medal, University of Sydney.

Patrick Neilsen
​Patrick is a highly qualified, independent professional Sonographer. and Director of Mobile Ultrasound Services.
​Patrick specialises in 
Vascular, Musculoskeletal and general Ultrasound, and also supports the St Vincent's Clinical Vascular Laboratory. He has supported AIHE students in practical industry based scanning techniques since 2015.

Cathy Scott
Catherine Scott qualified as a diagnostic radiographer prior to pursuing a career in Ultrasound and acquiring her Diploma Of Medical Ultrasound (DMU) in 2001.
She is currently employed as a chief Sonographer with Healthcare Imaging Services (HIS) and is Ultrasound Co-lead of the VITAL program with Radiology Across Borders.
Cathy has enjoyed tutoring students at AIHE since the course’s inception in 2015.

Amanda Dietsch
YEAR 1 Academic Lecturer
​With over 20 years’ experience in the medical imaging industry originally as a Radiographer, then Sonographer and now lecturer at AIHE, Amanda has extensive clinical experience in Public and Private sectors and a special interest in O&G Imaging.
Her role at AIHE  is to provide high quality teaching and training, whilst encouraging and supporting students to learn the necessary skills, knowledge and attributes befitting a Sonographer.

Petrina Rousel  
Petrina is a Senior Sonographer in specialist obstetrics and gynaecological ultrasound with a special interest in training and further education of Sonographers in high risk pregnancies, infertility & gynaecology. She supports AIHE students in scanning tutorials                                  

Nicole Campbell-Rogers
Recipient of the Dianne Clarke Memorial Award for Clinical Excellence.
With over twenty four years in Medical Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine, Nicole leads our students with excellence in scanning tutorials with a great sense for accuracy and procedural fore-thought.
Therese Materne
BApplSci (NucMed) Dip MU (cardiac) Dip MU(General) DipApp Sci (NucMed)
Therese has over twenty five years of experience as an Ultrasound Specialist at various imaging clinics and was awarded the Best Clinical Presentation ASUM Annual Scientific Meeting. She brings her wealth of knowledge and this experience to supporting our students at AIHE.

 Lucy Taylor  
YEAR 2 Academic Lecturer & Clinical Placement Coordinator
Lucy has been a sonographer for more than 25 years and currently holds dual accreditation, being recognised as both a specialist and an educator in the vascular field.
She has extensive experience as a practitioner from: remote communities in NSW to major Sydney clinics and has held education positions at Sydney University & CQU, also having facilitated programs offered through the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM). Lucy currently sits on the NSW Education Committee for the Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA).
She has local and international experience speaking at conferences and in 2015, presented at Artimino in Sweden and at Australian and New Zealand Professional Health Educators (ANZAPHE) - a scientific poster on Training Sonographers, in 2018.

Fiona Mc Naught
Fiona brings her wealth of knowledge and expertise to students by supporting AIHE with practical focus based tutorials. Fiona, alongside of Nicole have published articles for ASUM on the liver.
