This qualification reflects the role of health staff or practice managers who manage the operation of small to medium sized health practices.
The course applies to: Managers and team leaders who operate with significant autonomy in clinical professional service roles in Clinical Setting either in the Healthcare or the Allied Health Industry OR Workplace owners, managers and supervisors or other work colleagues who work under limited supervision and who have responsibility for mentoring and managing or leading a team of individuals in the workplace. This may include, but is not limited to, those who own their own business or those who mentor an apprentice or trainee employed by, or undertaking a work placement within, an organisation. We are able to offer Supervising Sonographers recognition of their support for our students with a Certificate of Completion or RPL status towards the Diploma of Practice Management. WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE This course does require some work place experience for assessments. This There are 15 units which must be completed for this course comprising 10 core units and 5 electives.
